The House

This home was originally designed as a modern urban home built with low cost materials in a very secure way.

While it was built with typical early 2000s materials in an inexpensive way, we necessarily stripped the property down to the studs, and brought it back with energy efficient, modern, and high-end materials. Everything is meant to be open and bright, but also reflect the industrial history of the city.

Many items are made from local artisans and craftspeople, and the entire space is a constantly changing canvas of Detroit themed artifacts.
